All is great with the fuel system. I have not heard of many people installing the AirDog system on the diesel pusher RV units. However, I think it works flawlessly. I have not put an enormous amount of miles on my unit after installation, but a few thousands of miles I have. So far so good. I also installed a programmer for the Cat 3126B engine…. which is conjunction with the AirDog system has given me more power and ease of mind. I like the combination a lot.

I’m Satisfied
Purchased Champ II in June 2020 and installed myself on 2002 T-800 Kenworth with Cat C15 engine. Have noticed better throttle response, especially once the fuel got lower in the tanks – it remains constant. After 6 months, I have seen 2/10 of a gallon increase or roughly 4% increase in fuel mileage. I also noticed quite an improvement in power. I’ve had the AirDog on since November and am extremely happy with it. Much better idle now, smooth as butter and starts better too. Throttle responds instantly and less black smoke when accelerating. Fuel mileage is hanging in at 6.5 mpg, which is good since it’s winter – normally it drops a half mpg, so I am hopeful I will see an increase this summer.
Definitely would buy another AirDog after running this one, even though it’s been a short time. First time I started the truck, I heard a change in the exhaust tone and knew this was going to be good.

I usually drive about 125,000 miles annually and use about 29,761 gallons of fuel. After the AirDog was installed, my fuel use dropped to 24,038 gallons! My mpg pulling my Bull Rack before putting the AirDog on was 4.1-4.3, now I get 5.2 and have seen up to 5.7 with no wind and 70-75,000 lbs. Plus, my manifold pressure went from 27 to 33 psi and my exhaust temps dropped from 825 down to 650. The truck puts out less smoke and idles much smoother.

Ecstatic About The Results

Approximately 5 minutes after installation, I noticed a major difference with the engine and how smooth it now runs. The engine has never operated this good since I’ve owned the truck. I also shift less, indicating increased torque. The first full tank was .6-.7 mpg gain, the second tank was .9 mpg gain, and the 3rd tank was .2-.3 mpg gain. The first two tanks were consistent driving conditions and the third tank was at higher cruising speeds. I am ecstatic with the results and cannot stop telling everyone how great the product is. I was initially skeptical, but now am a believer and think the next few tanks will be +1 mpg gain.

We installed the AirDog on our customer’s 500 Detroit 60 series. We previously installed a K&N filter, BullyDog heavy duty gauge tuner and a BullyDog exhaust manifold, which brought the customer’s fuel mileage from 5.4 up to 6.2 mpg and overall HP up to 550 and 1811 torque.
Once making a run on our dyno, we quickly realized how much was gained by installing the AirDog. HP went to 569 and torque jumped to a staggering 1888. The customer then left out on his first run of 3,000 miles just to return and report even more gains regarding the fuel mileage. It now sits at 6.7 mpg, so overall gains after the installation were 19 hp, 77 torque and .5 mpg increase.

First Choice For Better Performance
Well, who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? I have 21 year old Swede with over 2 million miles on a 500 hp Detroit. My truck never ran better! The increased fuel pressure gives me a better throttle response. Engine vibration is minimalized because of less restriction in the delivery system. The fuel is filtered down to 6 microns, which means a better spray pattern for the injectors. If you’re going to keep your truck, then this is the first choice in making your engine perform better. My return on smiles is back!

Great Payoff
My system was installed on August 26th, 2022 and it seems to be doing great! All is well with about 25,000 miles of the system being on the truck! I have noticed a smoother idle and showing a minimal gain in MPGs, but seems to have helped on the low end with horsepower and torque! I have a downsped Volvo D13TC motor, so my RPMs stay really low (850-1100 RPMs), so the help on the low end is a great payoff!

The AirDog with the Champ II provides the low-end torque that enabled me to properly re-ratio my rear-ends to leverage the engine’s downspeeding capability, giving me almost one mile per gallon fuel efficiency gain. My truck originally came from the factory at 500hp/1650 torque. Now, with the AirDog and Champ II, I have more of each, even with the engine set at 425hp/1550 torque plus re-ratioing the rears to 2.47. More low-end power, increased productivity, more enjoyable to drive, and one mile per gallon fuel savings. The AirDog was the key to putting this truck in its best form ever!

Amazing Addition
AirDog is an amazing addition to my 2009 Volvo VNL D13. Noticed immediately the throttle response is great! The throttle response is as good as it gets. Should Have Bought an AirDog Years Ago!
I installed the system on my 8.3 Cummins as soon as I got it [November 2020] – had an order to transport 174 car loads of BMWs, so I needed to hit the road. We do all of our own installations at our shop in Kimbolton, Ohio. In terms of throttle response and engine idle, we have noticed better pick up and better pulls on the hills. We track fuel mileage and have had about 0.5 mpg increase. We have also noticed longer time period between filter changes and better start up in cold weather.

Makes a Huge Difference Starting in All Conditions
The AirDog system makes a huge difference in starting the truck [1991 BMY Harsco M925A2 with 8.3L Turbocharged Cummins]. It starts up instantly above freezing and still starts down to 20 degrees without the engine block heater or ether, which was not the case previously.
I installed the AirDog myself and have noticed an improvement in throttle response and smoother engine idle. In general, I think the former military vehicle owner community could really benefit from your 24V product! I recommend the system to everyone I encounter with starting/fuel line issues. It makes a huge difference starting in all conditions.

I installed the AirDog on my Cummins powered motorhome myself. Easy installation in the same location as the OEM single fuel filter. Return fuel line from the AirDog was tapped into the original return fuel line. Again, it was an easy job. The results are amazing.
Throttle response was noticeable on first test drive. I no longer get the hesitation in acceleration and hiccups while increasing the demand on the engine. Also better mileage – pre-AirDog was about 6.6 and after AirDog is 7.0+. The engine now performs like a 400hp engine should perform. My only regret is not doing the change over much earlier.

I installed the AirDog myself with the help from the AirDog staff on the phone! The AirDog system has fixed my problem which was downrating my engine. My RV definitely runs much better. My RV is powerful again! My SilverLeaf system is already showing a 2 mpg increase with only a couple hundred miles. I replaced my stock lift pump 3 years ago. I wish I had known more about the CAPS fuel system. I would have put the AirDog pump in at that time. Every stock system needs this upgrade!

Performed Flawlessly
My Coach is a 2001 Holiday Rambler Endeavor with the ISC engine, the Cummins 8.3 liter. This is similar to several Monaco models of that time period. Our first significant travel since installation of the AirDog system was in November and December 2021. From NC to Northern VA at Thanksgiving and then NC to Southern Florida and back in early January. Probably 3,000 miles on the system.
First, the coach performed flawlessly the entire trip. Of course we did a few miles test run before hitting the road to check for issues like any leaks, etc. Your kit is excellent and instructions are straight forward. When I did have questions, Lance was always quick to get back to me.
The technical aspects of the installation were not difficult, but getting to some of the connections was, due to the tight quarters (trying to get two 1″ open end wrenches on JIC fittings where you could barely get one hand into). My installation was probably ideal as the AirDog went directly where the previous primary fuel filter was and I was able to use the existing fuel lines. They were Parker hydraulic hoses and are in good shape in spite of the coach being 20 years old.
Improvements are smoother idling, better acceleration, and although I need more data on fuel consumption to make a firm claim, we got 10 mpg on the return trip from Florida towing our Jeep. Never have we seen above 9.

Less Downshift, Less Smoke, More Power, & Improved Mileage

Right after it was installed, there was an immediate change in the engine performance – less downshifting, less smoke and overall more power. I had to relearn how to drive it with the extra power and my first tank went from 6.87 to 7.41. Even if there was no mileage gain, I had no plans on returning this before the 90 days just for the performance that was gained. Lunch for the AirDog team is on me!

GREAT Product
We completed our trip about a month ago after traveling around 5k miles in our motorhome (2003 Rambler Cummins ISC 8.3). After having your product installed, we immediately recognized a smoother, better starting, more powerful motorhome.
Additionally, probably the most important to me, was the comfort knowing that I would always have a positive fuel supply feeding the main injector pump! Since the stock design injector pump draws or sucks the fuel from the tank, which is about 30 ft away, the AirDog pump removes this design flaw by providing fuel under pressure, which is a great thing! Another benefit is picking up about 2 additional lbs of turbo boost, which is always a plus.

Couldn’t Imagine the Actual Gains I Received
The last three years of operating my 2010 Cummins ISX 550 HP with a competitor’s product, my average economy was 7.2. Can’t Stop Grinning
Our utility truck was at best making it through the workday; we were looking for something to help with low power. Quality Product and Knowledgeable Staff
The City of Huntington Beach Fire Department has installed six AirDog units onto our Pierce Arrow XT engines with Cat C13 power plants. We were having problems with fuel injectors failing due the amount of heat and significant fuel aeration in the fuel delivery system. Much of the problem was determined to be caused due to the distance between the fuel tank and the transfer pump. We reached out to PureFlow Technologies to see if they had a transfer pump that could be incorporated into the existing system near the fuel tank. They advised me about their AirDog system designed for our exact problem. Since we have installed the AirDog systems, we have had no signs of injector seal issues and no injector failures. In addition to having a quality product, the staff at PureFlow Technologies have been very supportive and are very knowledgeable about today’s fuel delivery systems and their inherent problems with aeration. Thanks to PureFlow Technologies and the AirDog, we feel that we have taken a step in the right direction to solve what has been an industry wide problem that is costing fleets a lot of money and making OEMs null about the issues.

Krone Big X 1000+ Chopper
I put 2 AirDog units on our Krone 1000 with 2 MBE 4000 Mercedes 500hp engines. The AirDogs have made a big difference. We are saving 4 gallons per hour and the power is steady and smooth. The engine starts a lot nicer and runs smoother. These units have been trouble free and work awesome.

Works Flawlessly
2002 Itasca Horizon RV with Cat 3126B Engine
All is great with the fuel system. I have not heard of many people installing the AirDog system on the diesel pusher RV units. However, I think it works flawlessly. I have not put an enormous amount of miles on my unit after installation, but a few thousands of miles I have. So far so good. I also installed a programmer for the Cat 3126B engine…. which is conjunction with the AirDog system has given me more power and ease of mind. I like the combination a lot.

There is a noticeable difference on acceleration and especially when driving on the open road. Highway driving was getting 19 mpg. Now with the AirDog, it’s getting 23 mpg.

Quality Product and Knowledgeable Staff
The City of Huntington Beach Fire Department has installed six AirDog units onto our Pierce Arrow XT engines with Cat C13 power plants. We were having problems with fuel injectors failing due the amount of heat and significant fuel aeration in the fuel delivery system. Much of the problem was determined to be caused due to the distance between the fuel tank and the transfer pump. We reached out to PureFlow Technologies to see if they had a transfer pump that could be incorporated into the existing system near the fuel tank. They advised me about their AirDog system designed for our exact problem. Since we have installed the AirDog systems, we have had no signs of injector seal issues and no injector failures. In addition to having a quality product, the staff at PureFlow Technologies have been very supportive and are very knowledgeable about today’s fuel delivery systems and their inherent problems with aeration. Thanks to PureFlow Technologies and the AirDog, we feel that we have taken a step in the right direction to solve what has been an industry wide problem that is costing fleets a lot of money and making OEMs null about the issues.

Install Was As Easy As Possible
Got the unit installed on 2016 Mack CHU613 MP8. Smoother idle, throttle response, and peace of mind of 2 more filters. I did have to order some fittings, hose, etc. as I couldn’t fit the unit on the frame, but found an excellent spot and the install was as easy as possible. You make a quality product and I have recommended it to a few friends.

Could Tell A HUGE Difference
2018 Mack MP8HE
This system was installed in the middle of a cross country run out to Oregon. I hardly made it out of the drive and could tell a HUGE difference in low end throttle response after installation. It pulls much better down low especially. I literally had to learn to back off the throttle a bit when taking off. My hats off to the guys and gals at AirDog for making this happen. They’re a joy to work with and have checked back with us to make sure all has gone well with this system. I can’t recommend this AirDog strongly enough! It makes me wonder why manufacturers aren’t installing these air/water removal systems right at the factory. Anyone at Mack listening?

Performing Well Beyond Expectations

AirDog was installed on August 19, 2020. So far it’s performing well beyond my expectations. Here are two fuel ups that have been done since the install of the AirDog – 7.19-8.5 mpg pre AirDog and 10.07-10.75 mpg after AirDog installed.

Honestly, I did not believe that adding the AirDog to my super downsped MACK Anthem would have any noticeable impact… I couldn’t have been more wrong. Improved low RPM performance, increased high RPM boost psi, and increased fuel efficiency… definitely a new weapon in my MPG arsenal.
